Ryan is President of OnCourse Wealth Management. As an experienced financial advisor and Accredited Investment Fiduciary, he focuses on helping clients understand their options for investment management, retirement income planning, insurance, and estate transfer strategies.
Ryan grew up in Ohio and moved with his family to Florida in 1981. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned the Scholar-Athlete Award for his studies in Business & Finance while starting at third base for UNC's 1989 College World Series baseball team.
After graduation, his grandfather Jack encouraged him to pursue a career in professional golf. Ryan's dedication and commitment resulted in playing 14 years on the PGA Tour competing against the best players in the world; including Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Fred Couples and Tiger Woods.
In 2008 Ryan transitioned to Wealth Management to utilize his college degree in financial services. The opportunity to help others develop financial strategies to achieve their goals is a career he still deeply enjoys.
He has been asked to speak at national industry conferences, radio shows and colleges. He enjoys educating people about finances and has been ranked among the firm’s top advisors each year since joining in 2011.
Ryan and his wife Angela have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Mandy. He still enjoys golf, playing tennis, snow skiing and is involved with several charities including Place of Hope, St. Jude's, and The First Tee.
